This list of positive affirmations for kids will help boost their confidence and increase their self-esteem.
And just like that summer break is over, and it’s time to head back to school. I mean, where did the summer go?
This time of year can be either exciting or bittersweet for us as parents. Especially for those who have kids starting school for the first time.
But whether you are a mom of multiple kids, or a first-time mom I know you tend to worry about your child’s well-being. Actually we all do. We want to make sure that all is well and that the school year is a success for them.
Boost Your Child’s Confidence With Positive Affirmations
One of the ways that we can help to ensure a successful school year is by helping to boost our child’s confidence.
I am a firm believer in the power of words ( Proverbs 18:21 ), and I believe that by speaking positive words out loud daily helps to not only boost our confidence, but change the way we view a situation.
We often hear of affirmations for adults, but reciting positive affirmations also works for children too. Affirmations help by affecting the way they view themselves and their abilities. Kids also feels a sense of well-bein when they are regularly affirmed. You can help shift your child’s mindset through the power of affirmations.
If you have no idea where to begin when it comes to using affirmations, or you’re in need of a little inspiration, I’ve got you covered. I have curated this list of forty positive affirmations that will help boost your child’s confidence.
The following words of affirmation are simple, yet relatable to children. They will help your child develop confidence for learning and also help them build positive relationships.
Repeat these often with your child and watch how their confidence soars.

How To Use Back to School Affirmations
Affirmations work best when they are said aloud every day. Repeat them on a consistent daily basis.
You can say them while brushing your teeth, getting dressed for school, while in the car (this is what I do with my son) or you can write a few and place them in your child’s lunchbox.
The goal is to get into the habit of saying them daily so that you are helping to build up your child’s confidence and self-esteem.
