If you’re just starting your journey to self love, here are twenty five inexpensive self-care ideas to get you started.
Self-care has sometimes been associated with selfish behavior. This type of mentality usually makes us feel guilty for even thinking about taking a break from our everyday lives to do something that, simply put, makes us feel better and improves our mental health.
Think about it, how often do you make time for the things that you love? If your answer is not very often or not at all, then it’s time to make some serious changes in your life, my friend. It’s time you made yourself a priority.
Maybe you’re asking the question, who has time for self-care? And I totally get it. Between working a full time job, parenting, managing your household, tending to your spouse, attending kid’s afterschool activities – honey, the list goes on, how much time is there left for self-care? Certainly not enough! That means you are left feeling tired, run-down, and overly frustrated. Sis, it’s time to treat yourself.
That’s why I have come compiled a list of some of the best self-care ideas to help you recharge your batteries, beat stress, reduce anxiety and boost your overall mood.
