Nashville, also known as the “Music City,” is a lively destination that offers a wide range of family-friendly activities. Here are some must-visit attractions for families: 

  • Country Music Hall of Fame: If you are a music fan, dive into the rich history of country music with interactive exhibits and displays that will captivate both kids and adults alike. 
  • Adventure Science Center: Let your kiddos explore the wonders of science through hands-on exhibits, interactive displays, and live demonstrations. 
  • Nashville Zoo: Get up close and personal with a variety of animals from around the world at the Nashville Zoo. Don’t miss the opportunity to feed a giraffe or ride the Wilderness Express train.

  • Tennessee Aquarium and IMAX Theatre: Go on an ocean journey and come face to face with enormous catfish, otters, sea turtles and other marine life.  You can even touch a stingray!
  • Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum: If you love trains as much as we do, you’ll really enjoy TVRM. Visitors can explore a range of exhibits, including historic railway cars and locomotives, along with special displays. You can also go for a train ride. They offer rides that include standard excursions, dinner trains, and special event trains.
  • Creative Discovery Museum: Spark your child’s imagination with interactive exhibits focused on science, art, and music. 
  • SOAKya Water Park: Spend the day at this five-acre water park which features a Crazy River, Body Slides, Tube Slides, an 800 ft. Mat Racer, and an interactive kids area just for the little ones!
  • Lookout Mountain: Take a scenic drive to Lookout Mountain and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Be sure to check out Rock City, a unique garden with ancient rock formations and enchanting pathways.

Pigeon Forge is a city that is near and dear to my heart as the hubby and I enjoyed part of our honeymoon there. Not only does it provide fun for the family, it’s also a great place to enjoy a romantic getaway.
