How To Make Valentines Day Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

Ingredients:

12 oz Bag Of Pretzels

3 oz Red Candy Melts

3 oz Pink Candy Melts

3 oz White Candy Melts

Your Favorite Sprinkles

Directions:

1. Melt your candy in the microwave for 20 seconds then remove and stir. (Be sure to use a different bowl for each color of candy).  Return candy to the microwave and heat in 15-20 second intervals, stirring in between until candy is completely melted.

2. Using a fork, dip each pretzel about two-thirds into the melted chocolate. Let the excess chocolate drip off, gently tapping the pretzel against the side of the bowl.

3. While the candy or chocolate is still wet, sprinkle on your Valentine-themed toppings. Get creative! This is a great step to involve the kiddos.

4. Place the decorated pretzels on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let them set at room temperature or pop them in the fridge to set faster.

5. Once the chocolate has hardened, arrange your pretzels on a festive plate or package them in clear treat bags tied with a red or pink ribbon for an extra sweet touch.

Fun Ways to Enjoy Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

Chocolate dipped pretzels aren’t just for snacking—they’re versatile enough to use in all sorts of ways:

  • Valentine’s Party Favors: Wrap a few pretzels in clear treat bags and tie them with a pink or red ribbon. These make adorable and affordable gifts for teachers, classmates, or neighbors.
  • Movie Night: Pair them with popcorn for a perfect sweet-and-salty combo.
  • Bake Together: If you’ve got older kids, challenge them to come up with their own decorations. Who can make the most creative design?

Pro Tips for Perfect Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

  • Use High-Quality Chocolate: The better the chocolate, the better your pretzels will taste.
  • Work Quickly: Chocolate can harden fast, so have your toppings ready to go.

Recipe Variations

Don’t limit yourself to just sprinkles. Try different types of chocolate: dark chocolate , milk chocolate, or white chocolate. Dark chocolate covered pretzels are amazeballs!

Add different sprinkles to fall in line with the holiday or season – ie spring, fall, Halloween or Christmas

Change out your toppings to suit your taste. You can use nuts, M & M’s candies, crushed peppermint, crushed cookies, or coconut as garnishes.
